I work solely with separation and divorce issues in a practical, no-nonsense manner that also uses a case management approach to link clients with appropriate services as they go through this life challenge. Areas of focus:
Education about the separation and divorce process, clarifying feelings and goals, making referrals to attorneys, therapists, psychiatrists and financial experts when needed, dealing with and communicating with your spouse/ex during this time, parenting and co-parenting issues, being grounded for your children, telling children about the divorce, visitation plans and suggestions based on children's developmental needs, creating and maintaining an appropriate support system, health and wellness issues associated with stress, making sense of the divorce and compartmentalizing all the above "pieces of the pie" one must deal with when divorcing with good boundaries and integrity.
