Sheila Carrigan is an experienced trial attorney and former municipal judge who also has experience as a deputy district attorney. She has extensive knowledge of family dynamics and practices in the areas of dissolution, post-decree, dependancy and neglect and juvenile law. She has served as a Guardian Ad Litem and a Child Legal Representative. She is trained in mediation and is available to mediate any sort of dispute including parent/teen issues. She is a member of the IDC board of directors and has significant experience in leadership positions in other legal and community organizations. She is a compassionate listener, works on empowering her clients and is an excellent litgator when necessary. She prefers to try to help families settle their disputes and has significant knowledge about child development, addiction/abuse, domestic abuse and mental health issues. She is available to represent parties, to mediate or to be appointed in appropriate cases. She is also an experienced real estate agent and is available for appointment as an expert witness in that area. Fees vary depending on the services performed. Ms. Carrigan does accept "unbundled" legal projects.
